Meet The Team
The dedicated professionals behind Firehouse Pups, committed to providing safe, dependable, and compassionate care for every pup who walks through our doors.
TORI, CO-OWNER
Tori proudly brings two years of experience serving as a firefighter/EMT at a local fire department. Her dedication to helping others, staying calm under pressure, and putting safety first are qualities she brings with her to Firehouse Pups every day.
She has one Bloodhound, Copper, who you may see hanging around Firehouse Pups! Tori has had a lifelong love for animals, and that passion truly shows in the care, attention, and commitment she gives to every animal who stays with us.
When she isn’t working at the kennel, you’ll find Tori at clinicals as she works toward completing Paramedic School, or spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
Tori is passionate about making sure every pup who walks through our doors is treated like family
BRITTNI, CO-OWNER
Brittni brings four years of experience in 911 emergency dispatching, along with approximately 12 years of experience working with animals in boarding kennels and veterinary offices. She has a great understanding of animal behavior.
She is especially passionate about working with shy, nervous, or challenging dogs. Brittni believes that with patience, consistency, understanding, and—of course—their favorite treats, every dog deserves the opportunity to feel comfortable, safe, and successful.
At home, Brittni has two Great Danes, Ellie & Hazel, an orange tabby cat named Kovu, and a freshwater fish tank! Over the years, she has also had the opportunity to care for a wide variety of animals, including pigs, chickens, a bearded dragon, a snake, hamsters, rats, and a leopard gecko.
When she isn’t at the kennel, you can usually find Brittni reading, crafting, or out enjoying a walk with her Great Danes.

CARISSA, CO-OWNER
Carissa proudly brings nine years of experience serving as a firefighter/paramedic at a local fire department. Her experience in emergency services has shaped her passion for helping others, and staying calm under pressure, with shows in her commitment to Firehouse Pups!
At home, Carissa has two Great Danes, Ellie & Hazel, and one orange tabby cat, Kovu! The three of them are always keeping Carissa and her partner on their toes!!
When she isn’t at the kennel, you can usually find Carissa teaching at a local college, teaching at a local hospital, or diving into one of her many hobbies—from tufting and cleaning to home projects and everything in between!
In her free time, Carissa loves spending time with her family and friends and, of course, spoiling her Great Danes every chance she gets!
